How to fix it
Follow these steps and you'll have it sorted in a couple of minutes.

Identify what you're sending
A document → Compress PDF. A photo → Image Compressor. A video → Video Compressor. Match the tool to the file type.

Compress it in your browser
Drop the file in and pick a compression level. The tool reports the new size so you can confirm it's under your provider's limit.

Check against the cap
Aim well below the limit (e.g. under 20MB for a 25MB cap): email encoding inflates attachments slightly.

Attach and send
Add the smaller file to your email as usual. For very large videos, trim to the part you actually need first.
- Zipping a JPEG or MP4 to shrink it. Those formats are already compressed, so a ZIP barely helps. Re-compress the file itself instead.
- Sending right at the limit. The base64 encoding email uses adds roughly a third, so a 24MB file can be rejected by a 25MB cap.
- Forgetting you can split a long PDF and send the relevant pages only, instead of the whole document.
