Resize to a sensible size
Set the long edge to about 1600px in Image Resizer: WhatsApp shrinks anything much bigger anyway.

- Sending as a 'document' bypasses WhatsApp's compression, so the recipient gets your exact file.
- WhatsApp compresses large photos hard, resizing to ~1600px first avoids a double, ugly compression.
- For a status, use 1080×1920 (9:16) and keep text away from the very top and bottom.
